CareLoop is a hackathon demo that uses synthetic data. Don't enter real health information.
Last updated: October 16, 2026.
When you share a prescription or plan, CareLoop reads it on its own server (text extraction, and OCR for scans or photos) with an AI model. By default that model runs on the same computer as CareLoop. If the person running CareLoop has connected a hosted model instead, the text extracted from your document is sent to that service so it can be read. Lines that read like commands to an AI are never sent. The extracted text is kept for at most 24 hours while you review it. Only the lines behind items you approve are kept after that. The uploaded file itself is not stored.
To let you and the people you choose coordinate your care, and to give your clinician an accurate summary. CareLoop does not give medical advice, diagnose, or monitor for emergencies.
Only you, and the people you invite, limited to the permissions you confirm. Shared speakers never read out health values or plan details. CareLoop does not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Records are kept for up to 365 days unless you delete them sooner. Deleted records are removed from search immediately.
You can export your data, delete records, revoke anyone's access at any time, and ask who has accessed your data.
